Hi to all!!
(sorry, I will write in English. I don't know Netherlandish(( )
I'm banknote-collector from Belarus. And I'm looking for banknotes from my own country.
We collect our currency according with serial prefixes.
Most belarussian notes have old-issued or replacement prefixes, that today are a little rare and I can't find them in Belarus.
So, if you sell banknotes, or have in your own collection set of Belarussian notes you want to sell - please, let me know.
For needed for me notes/prefixes I can offer good price. More than by catalog number.
For example, for note 5000 rubles from year 2000 with serials АА АБ АВ АГ
I can offer 20euro/pcs
Full list of needed prefixes you can get in personal messages or if you write an e-mail to plawinskialex@gmail.com
Payment method - PayPal
Thanks very much to all and have a good Friday and weekend!!

Hi Wojusz,
I see you have not been very active since your 2018 post... I hope you are still reading the forum though.
A fellow collector asked me about the scarce 1992 500 Rubles from Belarus. WHY is it that scarce?
(According to the banknotebook it should be around $45 in UNC condition, but I have not been able to find one below € 75.)
I have compared the note with all others from 1992, and it is quite remarkable to see the huge difference in current value.
Any explanation will do. (National bank of Belarus was not very helpfull, it only declared these notes have been obsolete since 2001, but all others from the series have circulated an equal time).
Als iemand anders weet waarom, uiteraard, reacties gewenst.

Hi!
Sorry for a long-long delay. All is easy: 500 rubles have only 5 series -mintage less, than 45mln, and there were no addition emissions in 1994-1995.
For all other notes(except 50 kopeeck) from 1992 were additional emissions in 1994-1995, when the face value in dollars was too small.
