Kent u dergelijke kokers in Nederland? Kan iemand andere mogelijke munten voorstellen?
Bedankt

Re: Muntenkoker / Coin tube
I thought only British and Americans made such items. I find accessories like this interesting.
Re: Muntenkoker / Coin tube
They are indeed most common in the UK, but I have never seen one from the US. With $1, $2.5, $3, $5, $10, $20 it might be a bit difficult to find the right size. In Germany they are rare but existent. One side for 20M, the other for 10M. From France I know the simple tubes without spring mechanism, but they do have the pocket watch sized porte-louis with spring mechanism. Of course it is difficult to find because I just don't know the word for it in other languages and even in languages I know it is difficult to find the right search string.
In this case $5, the Sovereign and 20M are to thick and possibly also with a diameter to small. The 20Fr. is at least to small.
Other very interesting accessoires are the pocket version of the coin holder, the coin scales, esp. the more "modern" ones which check diameter and thickness too, and purses.

Okay so they make one for the pound coin out of sterling silver (.925) in the UK with hallmarks when you look around for silver men's accessories.
In USA in 1995 I recall plastic ones for quarters/25 cents at Chuck E Cheese a place you may know from the token world. In some old television from the 1960s in black and white I see a belt version for many different types of coins to be used in business such as selling food at a baseball game. I never see new ones but Chevrolet trucks had ones inside that held coins for toll booths or parking meters(metres) then there are the coin sorting machines with tubes.
