Afgaand op wikipedia gok ik:

- Uusimaa = Merel / Snoekbaars / Egel
- Satakunta = Pinpelmees / Rievierprik
- Ostrobothnia = Grote Marene / Gierzwaluw
- Tavastia = Visarend / Brasem
- Lapland = Zalm / Blauwborst / en uiteraard het Rendier

Maar ja het blijft wikipedia dus... ;)

- 10 euro "70 jaar Vrede in Europa"

Wikipedia: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sisu_%28begrip%29

The salty breeze from the sea and a comforting light shining far away in the darkness – life without lighthouses would have been unimaginable to the mariners of old. The tenth lighthouse-themed coinage released by Mint of Finland is not only an attractive addition to the collection, but also an excellent gift.
There are dozens of lighthouses in Finland, of which the lighthouses of Bengtskär, Utö, Porkkala, Märket, Russarö, Harmaja, Suomenlinna, Tankar and Isokari have received their own coinages. The tenth coinage in the series is dedicated to all Finnish lighthouses, which still impress lovers of nature and cultural history with their compelling tales from beyond the centuries.

The Coinage 2015/I includes the Finnish metal circulation coins of 2015 in BU quality and is the tenth lighthouse-themed coinage to be struck by Mint of Finland. This milestone is celebrated by a commemorative medal to all Finnish lighthouses, set in the middle of the coinage. The medal is designed by Erkki Vainio.

Jean Sibelius' anniversary in 2015

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Sibelius, Mint of Finland releases on 30th of January silver and gold collector coins, some of which will be numbered.

The Jean Sibelius collector coin represents Finnishness at its most profound. It is a beautiful and touching gift with a place in the home of any Finnish person or music lover of any nationality.

The collector coin's obverse depicts the starry sky of Ainola and a copse of pine trees, among which Sibelius was often seen lost in thought. The reverse bears the neck of a violin, the composer's favoured instrument.

The maximum mintage of the EUR 10 silver Jean Sibelius collector coin is 10,000, and 50 coins will be numbered. The number is stamped on the coin's reverse, and the numbered coins will be mixed into the mintage at random.
Proof-quality Jean Sibelius collector coins are minted with a polished die, finished, and placed in a protective clear plastic casing set in a gift box that tells the coin's story.

Sibelius left a permanent mark on our hearts

The collector coin struck in honour of the 150th anniversary year of Jean Sibelius (1865–1957) commemorates the master composer's remarkable oeuvre and influence on the Finnish national character and Finnish classical music. The Sibelius collector coin touches every Finn and represents a piece of Finnishness to people of other nationalities.

Sibelius' compositions are powerful depictions of the birth, soul and vitality of the Finnish identity. The music of Sibelius has spoken to the Finnish people since its composition and has transmitted Finnish national sentiments abroad as well.
Internationally, Sibelius is Finland's most successful composer. He has been and still is a strong influence on many composers in Finland and abroad.

The collector coin paying tribute to Satakunta's beaver is most beautiful in proof quality. Proof-quality collector coins are minted with a polished die, finished, and placed in a protective clear plastic casing set in a package that tells the coin's story. The coin will best withstand the test of time and remain as a memento in your collection in its original package.

This provincial coin with a nominal value of five euros depicts the beaver. The collector coin's reverse bears the historic coat of arms of Satakunta.

This beautiful collector coin is part of the Animals of the Provinces series, which is the third coin series minted in honour of Finland's historic provinces. The first collector coin launched by Mint of Finland in Satakunta in 2010 paid tribute to bobbin lace tradition, which goes back hundreds of years in Satakunta. For the Provincial buildings series, Satakunta received a coin commemorating Sammallahtimäki´s nearly forty burial cairns built as the resting place for the ancestors of the inhabitants of Satakunta.

Satakunta´s beaver

The emblematic animal of Satakunta, the beaver, is known for its dam-construction skills. The European beaver is an ancient species that has inhabited Finland since before the last ice age. The species was nearly hunted to extinction in Finland, but the population has since been bolstered by imported individuals. The Finnish European beaver population is still limited to approximately 1,000 individuals, mostly concentrated in the region of Satakunta.
